My entire life has revolved around staying fit and being healthy and at the age of 35 I am very happy with how I look. It is not an easy task and it definetly takes constant motivation and dedication. First thing I do every morning is get on that scale and then I drink my coffee and go straight to the gym on an empty stomach which helps get your body into a fat burning zone quicker. I lift weights for about 35 minutes and than I do 45 mins- 1 hour of cardio on the stairclimber. When I was younger that was all I had to do, but now I also have to watch my diet. I find that eating 6 small meals a day really helps boost my metabolism. A typical diet plan for me consists of 4 oz of protein (w/each meal) and lots & lots of veggies and salads, and I also snack on almonds throughout the day. Another key ingredient I find to staying fit is WATER lots and lots of water, almost a gallon a day. So in a nutshell this is what I find works best for me, I know it sounds like a lot but I find everything in life is just better when you feel good about how you look! Please read what others do to stay fit.

Ok so I am one of these people that likes to try different things usually with a skeptical eye. So I have seen this Hollywood 48-Hour Miracle Diet for sometime now and I usually brush it off as BS. But being me I had to try it, so I bought it at the cost of $19. I read the instructions and gave it a try. I weighed myself beforehand and at my off season weight of 120LBS I gave it a try. I really do not like to fast but I did it anyways just as the directions say. On the second night I weighed myself again and I had lost 7 pounds, so I hate to admit but I was wrong it did in fact work. And yes I did feel like I had more energy and a clearer mind. Here is some info I found on there website:

“Thank you for choosing the Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet®. As you know, this is the #1 selling detox diet in the country. Over a million people, have chosen it for losing weight as well as for a healthy lifestyle drink and meal replacement. Not only is the Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet® perfect for weight loss, it is a great way to cleanse and detoxify the body.

Since early times, humans and animals, when sick, have instinctively stopped eating to give their bodies a chance to cleanse and heal. Most religions historically have included the practice of fasting to cleanse and heal the body and keep the mind sharp.

Today, our bodies are constantly being bombarded by environmental pollutants, toxins, poor quality food, and stress, which take a heavy toll on our digestive systems. Our diets are full of processed, refined foods tainted with pesticides, hormones and antibiotics, which can collect in our bloodstream and tissues causing us to feel tired, sick or overweight.

The following is a list of 14 common symptoms of toxicity:

1. Headaches

2. Skin Problems

3. Bad breath

4. body odor

5. Candida

6. Depression

7. Mental dullness / poor memory

8. Low energy

9. Stomach bloat or gas

10. Poor digestion

11. Weight gain

12. Constipation

13. Premature aging

14. Illnesses & degenerative disease

Toxic Colon Healthy Colon

If you are suffering from any of the above symptoms, then you most likely need a cleanse. The Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet® will help you to detoxify and rejuvenate your body .

The Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet® is scientifically formulated to flood your body with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, essential oils, and other cleansing ingredients that detoxify and rejuvenate your body while you shed pounds. By doing the two-day program, you have taken your first step toward detoxifying and cleansing your body of the 5-10 pounds of toxic waste in your colon and digestive system. First comes detoxifying, and then comes weight loss. You may need to repeat the Diet several times in order to fully detoxify and rejuvenate your body. This will keep you from feeling tired, bloated and prone to illness.

Every morning you take a shower, and every 3 months you give your car an oil change to keep it running smoothly, but when was the last time you gave your body an internal cleansing? It’s not too late to get back to feeling like you did when you were 20 years old.

Congratulations on taking the first step. You are doing something really great for yourself; and I have personally seen this Diet work miracles.

Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet®-slimming the world two days at a time.™”

So Bottom line give it a try I really believe it does detox your body and you will loose a significant amount of weight…the trick it to keep the weight off….lol

I want to share some tips I have found that really help stop food cravings. When I am craving something I know I should not eat I brush my teeth, something about the minty flavor and the clean teeth feeling helps curb my appetite. Also I found that keeping packs of sugar free gum around helps with food cravings as well. However sugar free gum contains a sweetener called sorbitol. It is a sugar alcohol with a third fewer calories than sucrose, or table sugar. However sorbitol can have a laxative effective effect if taken in large amounts causing stomach pains and diarrhea. Hope this helps with your food cravings!

One of my favorite Fitness Models is Ava Cowan, she is what originally motivated me to get back into shape! I was at a club when I saw her photo on an advertisement for Monster Energy drink and that was it I knew I had to get in great shape. Since than she has done very well for herself making quite an impact in the fitness industry.

“I am Ms. Figure America 2007, a WNSO Figure Professional, a FAME Judge, a fitness spokesperson and a personal trainer. After being a competitive gymnast for over 10 years, I attended a fitness school in Boca Raton, Florida called the Fitness Institute. In a year and a half, I graduated from there as a fully-qualified, certified personal training specialist, CPTS. Soon after, I went on to take my NSCA exam and became certified in that organization as well. More”

I love Oxygen Magazine, it is one of the best publications geared towards women’s fitness. This magazine uses models that actually work out, women with toned athletic bodies rather than other publications that have the skinny blond that has never lifted a weight in her life. Oxygen magazine’s gives a clear insight on what it takes to get in shape and stay in shape regardless of age. The workout programs and diet plans are actually what the top fitness models in the industry use. They do not sugar coat what it takes to be at the top of the fitness industry. Great magazine I hope they keep it up and do not lower their standards to what some other so called women’s fitness magazine have resorted too.

Flex Power is another product I highly recommend! I often have lower back problems to the point it hurts to breathe. A friend told me he had this cream that he swears by and gave me a little to try and sure enough it works. When you put it on you can feel the injured area warming up and then you will feel the injured area completely relax releasing the tension and the pain goes away. It almost weird how much it helps, I sometimes put it on my knees before doing my cardio. Bottom line Flex Power is a great product, if you back pain, neck pain, joint pain whatever I recommend you go the Vitamin Store and buy this product.

RedLine is another energy drink I absolutely LOVE! It gives you a serious energy boost, but read the directions before drinking. My first experience with RedLine was when I was getting ready for a Figure Contest and I was training with my professional bodybuilder friend Annie Rivieccio. We were getting ready to take a spin class at her health club and she handed me a bottle and said drink this. So I did! In just a few minutes I thought my heart was going to explode. I started to read the label (normally I do this before trying something new) but since I had been on low carbs and very flaky, I just drank the entire bottle. I could barely read the label b/c my hands were shaking so much…….here is the label;

Recommended Use:

Shake well prior to use. Always begin use with 1/2 can (4oz.) of REDLINE RTD® daily to assess tolerance. Never exceed more than two cans daily or more than one can in a four-hour period. Do not consume REDLINE RTD® on an empty stomach. Consuming REDLINE RTD® on an empty stomach may cause nausea. For best results, consume five to six servings of various high grade protein such as Zero Impact™ Meal Replacement Bar and Zero Impact MRP as part of your daily diet

Bottom line only take HALF of a bottle the first few times, other than me basically overdosing myself, I do love this product! I train harder, sweat more, and I am more focused during my workouts if I drink a redline beforehand.
