Avoid Cravings

I want to share some tips I have found that really help stop food cravings. When I am craving something I know I should not eat I brush my teeth, something about the minty flavor and the clean teeth feeling helps curb my appetite. Also I found that keeping packs of sugar free gum around helps with food cravings as well. However sugar free gum contains a sweetener called sorbitol. It is a sugar alcohol with a third fewer calories than sucrose, or table sugar. However sorbitol can have a laxative effective effect if taken in large amounts causing stomach pains and diarrhea.
